God's Glory

Isaiah 60

The verse focuses on God's glory and love for the Israelite people. They were going through a time of great suffering and pain, but God took control and helped wonderful things to happen in their lives. The passage in Isaiah shows what God is capable of, and all that He's willing to do for His people.

What I observed in the passage is that the people of that time seemed to be down-trodden and upset. They were worried about the sad things in their lives, and the people didn't seen to be very hopeful in their circumstances.

A lot of time we all get upset or overwhelmed by our circumstances, and therefore, we begin seeing all the negative things in life. If we make the choice to focus on all the good things that God has done for us, our lives will become better and we will have more excitement about the future.

Dear God, help me to be happier with life as it is now. Guide me through difficult times, and show me the plans that you have for my life. I trust you, I trust you with my life. Amen.
