Mark 16
Though it is the end of Spiritual Formation journals, it is not the end of daily devotionals. And it is not the end of our lives. Right now, we have a mission. We are to go into the world, and preach the good news of the gospel. We are to tell the world of God's saving grace and to help them learn how to believe in this grace and about eternal life. We will help people to see that there is no end to life, and that eternal life is prominent and available to those who believe in Christ.
In Mark 16:15 it says: "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." This is an exact explanation of what we are to do. We are to help others, heal others, and overall, preach the good news to the world.
Dear God, help me be a light to the world around me. Help me to preach your good news, and to shine my light in the dark areas. Be my guide, be my control, and help guide my path. Amen.
